Heather Donison, Executive Director

As director, Heather Donison is responsible for the overall administration of Green Venture. Heather has been involved in helping Hamilton be more environmentally sustainable for over thirty years. She has experience in community engagement, strategic planning for sustainability, water quality, air quality, and energy conservation. She has a Chemistry degree from McMaster University.

Erinn Todd, Operations Manager

Erinn Todd attended the University of Toronto, where she specialized in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, as well as completed a Master of Environmental Science. She has worked in Cuba, Peru, and Chile for various biological and environmental research programs. She is passionate about biodiversity conservation and environmental sustainability, and enjoys learning about new issues and developments in both areas. Erinn is responsible for managing the fee-for-service programs of Green Venture, including the energy auditing team, as well as overseeing the EcoHouse property.

Susan Neudorf, Education Manager

Susan Neudorf has called Hamilton home since 2005 and is passionate about connecting people with simple and creative ways to journey towards greater sustainability in their every day lives. Susan attended York University where she received a BSc in Earth and Atmospheric Science. Susan has extensive experience working with students and teachers at schools throughout Hamilton. Susan is responsible for managing the Education Programs at Green Venture, which include School Tours to EcoHouse, In-School Presentations and Summer Camp

Laura Anderson, Program Manager

Laura Anderson uses Environmental Stewardship as a guiding principle in her work and her life emphasizing the importance of taking responsibility for one’s impact on the earth. She attended the University of Guelph, majoring in International Development with a focus on Rural and Agricultural Development. Laura is responsible for delivering water related programming including Depave Paradise and RAIN at Green Venture. Laura is also our resident gardener and manages Green Venture’s annual Seedling Sale (in May) and the bi-weekly Edible Garden Club for youth.
