Poster Contest

Each year Green Venture works with Clean Air Hamilton to host the “Fighting Climate Change” poster contest for Hamilton High School Students. 

Student artists are asked to create posters to inspire others to take action on climate change and each year they amaze us with their works.

Entries are exhibited at an opening night gala and then across the city at community venues, schools and events.

Vermi Workshops

Green Venture often conducts vermicomposting workshops where participants learn about:

  • the benefits of composting
  • worm biology
  • vermicomposting
  • bin selection

After a short presentation, participants assemble their own bins to take home.

Workshops have been offered at various locations throughout the City of Hamilton and the surrounding area.
