Students will explore the three R’s (reduce, reuse, recycle)! They will learn to separate waste, recycling and compost (and reduce the amount of waste they create) by participating in the Waste Race game. Papermaking helps students understand where materials come from in nature, and the need to protect nature. The Great Recycling Machine is a simple way for students to link how recycling conserves materials.
A guided tour of ecohouse (inside and out) gives lots of opportunities to see how we use water in our lives and tips to conserve it.
