Grade 8: Tap Water: A Precious Resource
Students will learn the importance of preventing pollution and various water conserving technologies and practices, as well what they can do to conserve water. Students will experiment with our Raingers House Models, to see how simple technologies can affect stormwater management at home. Students will explore how our drinking water goes from the Lake to the Tap, and how much of the earth’s water is available fresh water.

- Evaluate personal water consumption, compare it with personal water consumption in other countries, and propose a plan of action to reduce personal water consumption to help address water sustainability

- Identify the various states of water on the earth’s surface, their distribution, relative amounts and circulation, and the conditions under which they exist
