It’s Plastic Free July, and we’re celebrating by hosting a Repair Cafe!

What is a Repair Cafe? It’s a place where a community gathers together to help fix everyday items. This way, we can repair our things instead of replacing them.

Join us at EcoHouse (22 Veevers Drive, Hamilton) on Tuesday, July 27th from 4-7pm for our First Annual Repair Cafe! We’ll be bringing some of our mending, sewing, and fixing friends from the community to help repair products.

Repair Cafe

4-7PM

We’ll be bringing some of our mending, sewing, and fixing friends from the community to help repair: bicycles, clothing, furniture, leather items, small electronics, and more!

In order to keep everything running smoothly, we ask that you sign up for a time slot for the item you would like mended. Please plan to arrive at EcoHouse approximately 15 minutes before your time slot, to allow yourself plenty of time to park and check-in with Green Venture staff. Limited street parking is available. Time slots will be 30 minutes in length, but the repair may take longer depending on the item.

At this time, we ask that you register for one time slot, for one item.

For bicycle repairs, please register here.

For basic furniture repairs, and leather handbag or wallet repairs, please register here.

For small electronic (computers and phone) repairs, please register here.
