Green Venture, in partnership with the Canada Community Revitalization Fund, Barton Village BIA, Adele Pierre Landscape Architect, and the City of Hamilton are working to beautify Barton St.

Join fellow community members in planting garden beds full of native trees and perennials!
What to Bring and Wear:
Please wear long pants and dress appropriate for the weather (rain or shine!)…and expect to get dirty! Closed toed shoes are mandatory. NO FLIP FLOPS OR SLIDES. Tools and gloves will be provided. Safety briefing and basic plant training will occur before work starts. It’s ok if it’s your first time planting – we can teach you!
Please bring your own reusable water bottle. Light refreshments will be provided.
Street parking available nearby. The #02 Barton Bus also stops near the planting site.
BEFORE the planting event, please join us for a volunteer appreciation event at Shop At Pinch:

9 am: volunteers meet at Pinch for treats and coffee
10 am: planting begins
12 pm: planting ends
