Do you know how to sew, carve wood, sharpen knives, fix technology, or any other type of repairs that you can think of? Then join us at our Annual Clean Air Day celebration on June 5th from 4:00pm – 7:00pm at the Hamilton Public Library’s Central Branch as a mender at out Repair Cafe!
Types of Mending:
- Clothing, Fabric, or Knit
- Leather
- Wood
- Bikes
- Manual Tools (no power) and Knives
- Appliances and Power Tools
If interested in volunteering as a Mender please contact us at mackenzie.whitten@greenventure.ca with the subject line “Volunteer Mender for Repair Cafe” with the type of mending you are proficient in, the times in which you are available to attend the repair cafe, along with your name and if you need an outlet for any equipment you might bring.
