To start off National Forest Week, Green Venture and CanPlant have partnered up together again, with the support from the City of Hamilton Forestry Section to plant another Mini Forest at Morton Park. Join us on Saturday, September 17, 2022, for our second shift from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM to help plant around 600 trees/shrubs at Morton Park.
What to Bring / Wear: Be sure to wear closed-toed shoes and long pants. Bring a reusable water bottle to refill at our water station. We will provide garden gloves, hand shovels, and other tools. Please feel free to bring your own gloves and tools. Masks are encouraged when physical distancing cannot be maintained.
Transportation + Parking: Green Venture encourages active and sustainable transportation. Bus stops are located about 8 minutes from Morton Park (55 Larraine Ave, Dundas, ON L9H 3J4) including route 05. Some street parking is available on Larraine Avenue.
