Green Venture, with the support from the City of Hamilton Forestry Section, are excited to plant another Mini Forest at Windermere Basin Park.
Join us on Saturday, November 4, 2023, for our first shift from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM to help plant over 900 trees/shrubs at Windermere Basin Park.
What to Bring / Wear: Be sure to wear closed-toed shoes and long pants. Bring a reusable water bottle to refill at our water station. We will provide garden gloves, hand shovels, and other tools. Please feel free to bring your own gloves and tools.
Transportation + Parking: Green Venture encourages active and sustainable transportation. Lakeland Loop Bus Stop servicing route 56 is near the pedestrian access to the Windermere Basin Park. Bikes can be brought to the stewardship area. Limited parking is available at 447 Eastport Dr, Hamilton, ON L8H 7S3.
