Join us from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM on Thursday, September 5th as we plant a new rain garden at Westinghouse! Tasks include native species planting, cultivating, and weeding. This is a great opportunity for youth looking to gain extra community hours.
What to Bring / Wear: Be sure to wear closed-toed shoes and long pants. Bring a reusable water bottle to refill at our water station. We will provide garden gloves, hand shovels, and other tools. Please feel free to bring your own gloves and tools.
Transportation + Parking: Bus stops are located about a 1 minute from Westinghouse including route 02. Some street parking is available on Barton St E, but busing is recommended.
Please complete our volunteer waiver before you sign up! Green Venture volunteer waiver forms must be completed annually, if you already completed a waiver in 2024, you don’t need to submit another one.
