Green Gardening Volunteer
With the coming of spring, there are flowers, leaves growing onto the trees and slight gusts of winds to cool you off. Even during this beautiful season and time, many invasive species start to pop up and seed. Our goal during this event is to beautify EcoHouse by removing common invasive species which can be extremely harmful to the surrounding environment, tidy up garden and forest areas, and help in the removal of litter around EcoHouse.
When: April 20th, 2023 during the times of 1:00 PM-2:00 PM
Where: Ecohouse. 22 Veevers drive, Hamilton, Ontario.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Help in the removal of litter around EcoHouse
- Beautify EcoHouse pathway areas by removing weeds.
- Assist in the beautification of EcoHouse garden and forest areas.
Skills and Abilities Needed:
>Be able to stand for long periods of time, and crouch down [Preferred]
Equipment:
> Please dress appropriate for the weather and wear closed toed shoes
>Shovels [Will be provided. if bringing your own, please bring smaller garden shovels]
> Gloves (Bring your own, or we will have some you can borrow)
