Join us from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM on Thursday, May 23 to keep Governors Manor and Dundas Valley School of Art looking beautiful. Tasks include invasive species removal and general clean-up maintenance. No experience necessary, all tools provided. Suitable for teenagers and adults. This is a great opportunity for youth looking to gain extra community hours.
What to Bring / Wear: Be sure to wear closed-toed shoes and long pants. Bring a reusable water bottle to refill inside the school. We will provide garden gloves, hand shovels, and other tools. Please feel free to bring your own gloves and tools.
Transportation + Parking: Green Venture encourages active and sustainable transportation. Bus stops are nearby the sites include routes 05 and 52. Some on-street metered parking is available nearby.
Please complete our volunteer waiver before you sign up! Green Venture volunteer waiver forms must be completed annually, if you already completed a waiver in 2024, you don’t need to submit another one.
