Join us from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 4 as we keep our recent mini forest planting at Lake Avenue Park looking amazing! Tasks include weeding, general clean-up maintenance, and mulching. This is a great opportunity for youth looking to gain extra community hours.
What to Bring / Wear: Be sure to wear closed-toed shoes and long pants. Bring a reusable water bottle to refill at our water station. We will provide garden gloves, hand shovels, and other tools. Please feel free to bring your own gloves and tools.
Transportation + Parking: Green Venture encourages active and sustainable transportation. Bus stops are nearby; the sites include routes 01, 55, and 02. Some parking is available nearby, including Riverdale Community Garden and street parking.

Please complete our volunteer waiver before you sign up! Green Venture volunteer waiver forms must be completed annually, if you already completed a waiver in 2024, you don’t need to submit another one.
