Join us from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM on Wednesday, May 15 as we keep our 2022 Mini Forest planting at Morton Park looking tree-mendous. Tasks include invasive species removal and general clean-up maintenance. This is a great opportunity for youth looking to gain extra community hours.
What to Bring / Wear: Be sure to wear closed-toed shoes and long pants. Bring a reusable water bottle to refill at our water station. We will provide garden gloves, hand shovels, and other tools. Please feel free to bring your own gloves and tools.
Transportation + Parking: Bus stops are located about 8 minutes from Morton Park including route 05. Some street parking is available on Larraine Avenue.
Please complete our volunteer waiver before you sign up! Green Venture volunteer waiver forms must be completed annually, if you already completed a waiver in 2024, you don’t need to submit another one.
