Join Green Venture for a rolling stewardship event along Barton St. E as we take care of our various sites here. Tasks include invasive species removal and general clean-up maintenance. This is a great opportunity for youth looking to gain extra community hours but everyone is welcome!
Green Venture has worked with community partners over the years to install various green spaces along Barton St and we need help keeping them clean. Since Barton St is a busy street, litter often ends up in the garden beds and volunteers step up to keep the gardens clean. We know that green spaces, especially in urban settings such as downtown Hamilton provide countless benefits for the community and we are asking for your help.
