Hamilton, Ontario, is on the brink of a transformative journey, and we need your help to shape it!
Green Venture, in collaboration with Green Communities Canada, is thrilled to introduce the Living Cities program. This initiative aims to convert at least 250 square metres (about half the size of a professional basketball court) of urban spaces into lush, vibrant green areas that benefit both the environment and the community. We want you, the residents of Hamilton, to give input on which site to select. We’re inviting you to share your ideas for locations that could be transformed into greener spaces. Over the past decade, Green Venture has depaved over 1500 square metres through programs like Depave Paradise where concrete was removed and replaced by green spaces. This year alone we added more than 2400 native trees and plants to our community. Your voice matters, and together, we can create a more sustainable, greener Hamilton.

Why this Location?: Share why you believe this area should be transformed into a green space. Is it currently underutilized? Does it lack greenery? Is it a space where the community gathers?
Your Vision: Tell us about your vision for the transformed space. Do you envision a community garden, rain garden to manage flooding, or a peaceful retreat? Your ideas are invaluable in shaping the future of these areas.
