Illyria Volcansek
Program Assistant – Environmental Education

Illyria is an undergraduate Arts and Science student at the University of Guelph who studies ecology and creative writing. When she’s not scribbling in her notebook, she can typically be found wandering around cool trees. With a passion for environmental activism and supporting biodiversity, Illyria is interested in communicating the myriad of ways people shape (and are shaped by) the more-than-human-world around them. She has worked previously with Green Venture as a youth volunteer, and is excited to join the team.
