Sol Qiu
Program Assistant – Environmental Education

Cindy (“Sol”) Qiu is a social science student at the University of Waterloo, specializing in social work and social policy. She is passionate about understanding the intersectionality of social inequality and environmental issues and tackling climate change apathy, especially in youth. As an education program assistant, she hopes to bring her 5 years of experience in event planning and extensive background in supporting diverse populations to empower everyday Hamiltonians to take climate action. In her free time, Sol enjoys making jewelry, hiking, gardening and creating spreadsheets for anything possible.
