Green Venture hosted its very first Fall Garden TuckIN event at the EcoHouse and it was a big success! On November 2nd, volunteers and GV staff united to remove goutweed, raspberry canes, clean our community garden, put in native plants and lay down some mulch!
We had a total of 31 volunteers join us at the EcoHouse! Volunteers came from Mohawk College, local high schools and around the neighborhood. The chilly weather and light rain were no obstacle for our hard-working team.
A big thanks to all our volunteers! With your help, we were able to accomplish big tasks in a short amount of time. We hope to see you next year for our Spring Cleanup!
