Secondary Students: Learn and take action to grow our urban forest!
This Spring we are inviting Hamilton highschool students to join us to learn about trees and take action to improve our urban forest canopy!
Green Venture and Trees for Hamilton want to engage your geography class to learn about our urban forest and how our urban trees are important green infrastructure. Students will participate in a school neighbourhood walkabout to inventory and identify local trees, and to identify green infrastructure that already exists, as well as identifying future greening sites.
