With over 10 years of diverse horticultural experience and a Master of Landscape Architecture from State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry, Jessica is thrilled to be supporting Green Venture in their gardening programs and green infrastructure.
Alexandra is a fourth-year student at Queen’s University, pursuing a degree in Psychology and a Certificate in Business with the Smith School of Business. She is excited to connect with the Hamilton community through Green Venture’s communications.
Ryan is a fifth-year Concurrent Education student attending Brock University. With a passion for the environment, Ryan brings an appreciation for environmental sustainability and stewardship into the Green Venture Education team.
Kelly has a degree in Horticulture from the University of Guelph. Her passions include urban agriculture, green roofs, sustainable cities and waste reduction.
Miranda is passionate about climate change adaptation with a Masters in Climate Change and undergraduate in Geography and Environmental Management from the University of Waterloo.
Heather has a PhD in Cell & Systems Biology, and Collaborative Program in Environmental Studies and she is an Ontario Certified Teacher and a passionate environmentalist.
Sheila graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a degree in Psychology and Social Behaviour and moved to Hamilton several years ago where she has been exploring Hamilton green spaces and gardens and volunteering with various environmental organizations.
Helena grew up in Hamilton before studying aquatic biology and coastal management in Guelph and Halifax. Helena gained experience working on environmental restoration and marine park management projects in the Caribbean before joining Green Venture.
Megan joins the Green Venture team with a Masters in Geography and Environmental Management from the University of Waterloo. Megan is passionate about environmental education, working to connecting members of the community with the environment and engaging them in environmental stewardship.
