On October 28th, Green Venture staff and volunteers came together to share a meal and celebrate the immense volunteer contributions of this past year. We enjoyed a delicious potluck dinner, with fabulous offerings from both staff and volunteers. Between April and October 2019, well over 800 hours of volunteer time were contributed! Our volunteers dedicated their time and energy to a variety of projects – from community events, such as Seedy Saturday and Depave Paradise, to regular shifts helping out at our EcoHouse with tasks such as office administration, customer service, and garden maintenance, to many more activities and initiatives. Our volunteers are integral to the success of Green Venture’s programs and we would not be able to do what we do without them. So we say, hat’s off to every one of our volunteers and thank you! We are deeply grateful that you are so generous with your time, and that you choose to spend it with us. We are excited to continue working with you and celebrating all that we accomplish in 2020!
